What Will The Service Entail ?
During a routine service the following actions will normally be taken (this may vary depending on the model)

Operation of controls & components will be checked
-
Fire valves will be checked
-
Fuel filters feeding the Aga oil control will be replaced and O-rings inspected

Burners will be cleaned
-
Fuel flow rates will be checked (oil) as cold oil
-
Flame pattern will be checked at full combustion, high and low & adjusted if need be
-
Rope seals and gaskets will be inspected on lids and doors only, not internally
-
Adjustment to the operation of insulating lids and doors
-
Check oil depth within the burner
-
Visually check the safety of the oil line and storage tank
-
Check integrity and safety of electrical connections and insulation
-
Make sure the ventilation and flue system are in accordance with regulations
-
Carry out a flue spillage test and flue draught test
-
Check Carbon Monoxide Alarms within the appliance room are up to date & functioning correctly
The insulation in the Aga can only be accessed via visual inspection. If need be, the Aga top plate can be removed and the Aga reinsulated on a mutually convenient visit .
Oil fuel pipes feeding the Aga from the oil tank are pressure tested and documented on a 5 yearly basis.
